Introducing the all new 1700kV motor designed for 1/5th scale drag racing. We have partnered with Castle to create an improved version of the 2028-1700kV to improve reliability in the speed run and drag applications. Designed to be paired with the Cobra5 ACE this motor will take your runs to the next level.
Key Features:
- High kV without sacrificing torque: Ideal for drag racing, get off the line fast and don’t sacrifice speed at the top end
- Robust Construction: Features a stainless steel wrapped rotor and ultra balanced shaft to protect in high RPM applications
- Versatile Compatibility: Pairs seamlessly with the highly acclaimed Cobra 5 ACE, providing a reliable and powerful racing setup.
This motor is designed to operate up to 8S.
TECH NOTES
Do NOT cut wires coming out of the motor. These are winding wires that are epoxy coated, to which solder will not adhere; the ends have the coating removed so they can be soldered. Cutting the wires will prevent soldering and make the motor a paperweight.
One hole internationally left blank on rear endbell roll pin retainers; it is the one between “4-pole motor” and “Made in China”.
